Mandatory Credit: Isaiah J. Downing, USA TODAY Sports

  1. Nikola Jokic - 1st in points, 1st in rebounds, 1st in assists, Finals MVP, It isn’t close.

  2. Giannis Antetokounmpo - Still an absolutely dominant force on both sides of the ball.

  3. Desmond Benjamin - The best rebounder the game has seen in 20+ years.

  4. Luka Doncic- Don’t be surprised if he takes the MVP. Triple-double in one half.

  5. Joel Embiid - Lord of flopping, but is still a monster carrying a great team.

  6. Kevin Durant - Quietly having the best season of his career with almost 50-50-90 shooting splits.

  7. Tyrese Haliburton - Must-see TV. He was an elite passer, now he’s an electric scorer too.

  8. Lebron James - LeGoat, the greatest to ever do it and more clutch than ever.

  9. Shai Gilgeous Alexander - Stat machine. The best player on a blossoming Thunder team.

  10. Stephen Curry - The greatest shooter of all time on the worst team he’s ever been on.

  11. De'Aaron Fox - Electric, keeps taking steps each year, 30-5-6.

  12. Jayson Tatum - Fantastic as usual, but still can disappear and settle for bad shots.

  13. Damian Lillard - Shaky start but clearly a difference-maker in the clutch for the Bucks.

  14. Devin Booker - Proved himself as a superstar last playoffs, but yet another disappearing act in an elimination game.

  15. Anthony Edwards - The best player on the best team. #1 in defensive win shares.

  16. Donovan Mitchell - One of the most underrated in the league. When he catches fire, watch out.

  17. LaMelo Ball - Shoulders hurt from trying to carry the Hornets. Incredibly crafty, and can score from anywhere.

  18. Trae Young - Shooting was rough early on, but when scoring isn’t there he is one of the best floor generals in the game.

  19. Domantas Sabonis - Scoring skills of a 40-year-old dad at LA Fitness, but an amazing facilitator who is the heart of the Kings. Need to see better in the playoffs.

  20. Jalen Brunson - Could be higher if he wasn’t the New York Prince of Flopping. Electric scorer, but a bit of a cone on defense.

  21. Tyrese Maxey - Clearly stepped up when he was needed most. Watch him climb higher as the year progresses. 29-3-4 on a great team.

  22. Jimmy Butler - A bit over-credited with his teammates' development and success, but still a complete dog from mid-range and on the defensive side of the ball.

  23. Alperen Sengun - Baby-Jokic. He can do it all, just a bit smaller and less efficiently.

  24. Paul George - Continues to be one of the smoothest in the game, but we need to see playoff success.

  25. Karl Anthony Towns - Has taken a step this year, and could be higher. He’s more aggressive on offense, stepping up big-time on defense, and 50-40-90 on the best team.

  26. Anthony Davis - No longer top 10. No longer top 20. Got carved up by Sabonis on both sides of the ball. He’s still a great defender though.

  27. Kyrie Irving - The Mavericks will live and die by this man. If he stays involved in the offense and facilitates he is one of the best guards in the league.

  28. Kawhi Leonard - Still efficient and a good defender, but looks less and less involved in the offense each year.

  29. Chet Holmgren - What a year. Clear ROTY at this point with his efficiency, and has changed the Thunder into a contending team immediately.

  30. Victor Wembanyama - His offensive efficiency is quite bad for being 7’6” (43% fg, 26% 3pt). However, he may be the best defensive player in the league already.

HM: Paulo Banchero, Bam Adebayo, Ralph "Butter" Wallace, Julius Randle
